I believe that the argument "Social Networks don't bring us closer together as we now talk through computers rather then to each other" is ridiculous as the advancements in technology and communication allow us to speak to long lost friends, relatives and even talk to people at the other side of the planet that we've never met before 

People may think that because they can't speak face to face it may be rude or disrespectful, i disagree with this as there are many times were people can't see each other and would have no other means of talking.

I think that most people would, now, think the statement is completely wrong. the

To promote the record company i would make sure that the fans/followers would have a say in what happens to the company/singers as then the people who make the company thrive then have a say. I would also give rewards to some fans, for example, i would do random give aways that could be entered by sharing/retweeting a post on Facebook or Twitter. There could also be a donations page and the higher the amount that the fan donates the better the rewards. There could also be signings by the most popular artist all around the world to attract more attention from passers by.

On my Facebook page there is rarely (if ever) a news article shared or posted to my timeline. this is because 14 year olds don't tend to care about the news as such unless it is a big world event or involves them. Music videos or songs are shared every now and again as they are more likely to be looked at by people my age. funny videos are the most likely to be shared as they are easy to come across on Facebook and are mostly aimed at my age. I don't think iv'e ever shared something i want to Facebook unless its a giveaway or a chance to win something free ect.

My internet use

I use some form of internet everyday. I normally use the same few social medias and apps everyday, they consist of the usual; Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. I also use the music app PlayTube everyday as I can't live without music.

 I would say that i use social media a lot less then most of the people my age. Even though i don't use it as often as other people, i do think that it is very useful. This is because it allows you to make contact with people you wouldn't normally be able to.
